Requesting Evidences and Certificates just got a lot easier.

In our continued efforts to go paperless, we have created a new email address for our clients and lenders to send their requests for Evidences of Property insurance and Certificates of Liability insurance. You will be better served by sending requests to [email protected], to ensure that documents are processed quickly and distributed to the correct CSR. What is a Certificate of Liability Insurance?

A Certificate of insurance is a document used to provide proof of liability coverages and includes the policy number, effective dates, carrier and coverage limits.

An Evidence of insurance is a document used to provide proof of property coverages and includes the policy number, effective dates, carrier and coverage limits.

What is an additional insured?

An additional insured is a person or organization that has insurable interest in your property or business. For example XYZ Pizza leases space within in a shopping center owned by ABC Properties. As the landlord, ABC Properties would be named as additional insured on XYZ Pizza’s liability policy as the manager or lessor of the premises.

When can I expect to receive the documents after they have been requested?

In most cases the document will be returned within a few hours of the request, however please allow 24 hours before following up. Should you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
